I feel like the music side of the brony fandom is dying. I mean where is the grass says moo, ibringdalulz, acousticbrony! I dying here maaaaaan. What do you think senpai?
I kinda feel the same, in some ways. The dudes who used to dig makin’ music for horse stuff are moving onto other opportunities and such, (which is great for them, they’re talented, they should make the kinda music they wanna,) but that just leaves the brony musicians who are like “I CAN BE THE NEXT BIG BRONY MUSICIAN NOW YEAH YEAH” so I’m kinda sad about that. I know some dudes who are still making pony music and are fantastic at it, but some others appear to just be in it to get known and get invited to cons.
It always turns me off when people introduce themselves to me as “brony musicians” or give off the appearance of wanting to get “brony famous” or whatever. Never got the point of internet fame. I’m fortunate I haven’t gotten a big head from being somewhat known on the internet cause I hate dudes/dudettes with that attitude. It’s gross haha
I make music with people who I like as people or musicians, not because of how popular they are. That gives me a 100% success rate as my only goal is to have fun, as cheesy as that fuckin’ sounds.
Won't people just ask you silly short little shitty things with their blog attached to it I really don't get what the point is.
I will get less bullshit. Most people on the internet survive through means of anonymity. By disabling anon asks, I’m killing the anonymity and the bullshit.
At least if you give me bullshit using your name, I have the ability to report you. I’ll never abuse it, neither have I seriously felt offended enough to want to report someone, but I’ll be ready when the time comes.
Having fun laughing at 9/11 jokes while condemning your friend for making light of rape? Its not like 9/11 is "A serious thing" right? Fucking hipocrite.
Hell yeah it’s a serious thing too. But if someone was offended and they let me know, I’d at least apologize immediately, for I could not have known that it was offensive to them.
Jessie did flip the fuck out. He did. I’m just saying, whether it’s public or private, if an apology is in order, don’t hesitate about it. Don’t be a dick about saying sorry.
It’s not even about a rape joke. It’s about the willingness to apologize for one. Because with any rape joke, 9/11 joke, holocaust joke, or Nelson Mandela joke, comes the responsibility of dealing with the repercussions of doing so.
I never said Jessie didn’t trip. It’s obvious that he blew it up unnecessarily, and he needs to learn to chill the fuck out. But that doesn’t instantly opt Mixi out of simply saying sorry.
This would’ve ALLLL been avoided if Jessie didn’t turn up, if Mixi said sorry in a more proper fashion, and if I didn’t care about Mixi, respectively.
